All Day At ER

My Salvadoran neighbor took me to the hospital so I spent the day at the ER getting xrays to see if my fall on the ice broke my leg. It not only hurts, but it won't work, won't extend or bend. Good news is that xrays showed no broken bone, but I have a torn hamstring muscle instead. Crutches didn't work. I have to use a walker.

I got an emergency handicapped parking sticker so I can be back at school teaching on Monday, but things are tough. Prayers and/or good vibes welcome.

Oh Muji, I am so sorry. I wish it were a lot less, but happy it wasn't more.
With your neuro-pathy, though that handicap sticker is late in coming. Have your PCP make it permanent.

I third the making you handicapped sign permanent. I hope you feel better fast. Torn muscles are often worse than a break. Much harder to heal.

Get well fast, torn hamstring ouch. Sometimes soft tissue takes longer than broken bones.

    I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying.  I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there.  I think that I will start writing in it again.  It's so therapeutic.
