Has anyone ever read this by mother Teresa--it's AWESOME!! Here it is:
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered.
Forgive them anyway
If you are Kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be Kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and Frank anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is all between you and God. IT WAS NEVER BETWEEN YOU AND THEM ANYWAY.

I love that repetition of the word "anyway" in there, Loo. I love how by using it Mother Teresa never invalidates any of the unfairness folks like us have endured as survivors of trauma. Not at all, to the contrary, she validates it all. Being cheated, being betrayed by "false friends," losing what you've worked for for years on end, all of that's real. Her call acknowledges all of that and tells us that we can rise above that "anyway." We do not have to let others define us, we can define ourselves "anyway." It's so refreshing. Thank you!!!!

She was awesome and an inspiration to me even though I'm not Catholic....

If people have never seen it the film Mother Teresa is worth seeing and I've seen a biography of her as well.... The film is pretty accurate

    Does anyone here have a comfort item you carry with you when you go out? For example this is my doll, Annie, and I've recently been bringing her with me when I run errrands flor have an appointment. Holding her comforts me. I've bought her clothes, crocheted for her, I recently bought a personalized blanket with her name on it.  Just wondering if anyone else has a comfort item.
