I am at a loss for words. I don't know what to say.
Lately, I've had a hard time waking up. It's like this profound tiredness and sadness I can not explain or make it simple.
I've been more depressed and more confused than ever. I have NEVER felt like this before. It's like the noise in my head is louder than the noise outside and I can not stand loud noises. I've been more miserable and plain annoyed and irritated.
This doesn't feel real to me anymore. I don't feel like I am home and I am tired of fighting for everything. No matter how hard I try to guard myself, it feels like I am open-book.
I know this is connected to my PTSD and current circumstances, but I am just tired. Hurting really bad and I can't say anything. I don't want to exist here; I want to go to a distant desert/place but that is not a choice, for now.
Concentration/focus/energy has been like a rollercoaster.
Psalm 38.

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

Please now my heart is with you.
Impending court stuff has got to be adding to this right now. You sound so exhausted, and I'm not talking the depressed sort of exhaustion - just the been through so much exhaustion that brings on the desire to hibernate on the far side of the rainbow for a while.
Saying: 'this too shall pass" probably isn't very helpful right now, just the best I've got.
Hugs to you.
This, too, shall pass. Intrusive thoughts; reliving vivid moments like a movie in front of your eyes but it's in your head; the smallest thing can set off a memory that leaves you devastated. You think you're got to a place in grief where this "shouldn't" be happening, there is no such place, PTSD is a real physiological problem. I never really understood that until I started to experience it.
Hang on. You begin to learn about it, about how to stop it or at least understand it sufficiently to keep it from paralyzing you. Good therapist, maybe some medication (short term), you can do this.
I am so glad you were able to share this much with us, Kat. I pray it helped at least a little.
I love the psalms during times like this. Helps me to sing them. I imagine myself singing harmony in King David's court and feel much less alone.
Rest now, friend. May a healing angel visit your dreams. Keep us posted, please.
I really hope it passes for both of us.
