How bad are klonopin withdrawals for a person with chronic PTSD?

My prescription/dosage has ended and I don't get to see my psychiatrist til July 19. It has been hell for me since it finished. I have no idea what I am doing nor do I know how to even feel, since all I feel is numb.

I know I have a lot going on in my life and that there are things I cannot Di anything about. I feel absolutely wiped out and exhausted. I even look like it. Also, not too long from today, the first trauma I encountered with my brother is coming up... ??? That's when I first started to experience insomnia...

I am not sure where you live, but I know where I do you can go to your pharmacy and ask if they can somehow do a emergency fill. No one wants to see you relapse so pharmacists sometimes... in emergency cases... do something for you. They also have good communication with doctors so if they can't they would also know what direction they can point you.

i would head into the emergency room at the hospital and talk to a prescribing doctor, and explain your case to her/him.

benzo withdrawl is horrible. i only took 1mg/day of clonazepam (klonopin) for 4 months, and even that was brutal to come off. i had horrible depression and insomnia.

don't risk your stability. please, head to a medi-clinic or hospital and find a prescribing doctor, or phone your psychiatrist's emergency number and tell them to phone in a prescription.

Yes, a pharmacist can help a little with this. When I found out I had kidney disease and had to quit meds I'd been on for years, powerful meds like Seroquel though not klonopin per se, it wasn't easy. In the end it worked out great, but if you don't have to go cold turkey, I wouldn't. I did it under medical supervision, too, not going it solo. I'd go in person to the pharmacy you use the most and see if you can talk face to face and get a break.

It's a controlled drug so pharmacist may not just give it out. Better to go to the ER
