I has arrived at my long coveted river confluence within one of the most geophysically fascinating spots in the world by the Arf Measure. The local economy sucks, but what do you expect from an area that floods too often for human settlements. Part of the appeal for this beaten dog. For all the half a century or so that I have floated through here, both physically and rhetorically, I am, in fact, barely even a tourist. Tourists are social. I prowl the marshes like. . . Insert analogy of personal preference here. ?...like the Shawnee for whom much of this area is named? Or is it just another label? If there is anything Shawnee still here, aside from the land, I haven't found it yet outside the gift shops.
I sit now in an affordable motel, enjoying the view of a dumpster outside my open door and just wondering. . . What next? The most consistent problem I have found in my constant running-from is that I keep arriving at destinations without any plans to work from.
For sure, I need smokes. That would be why I landed in Missouri instead of Illinois. The Free Law folk in Illinois sure are greedy. Their cigarette taxes support a hefty market for reduced tax cigarettes. I would rather support legitimate business when I can.
Still sorting. . .
River levels are WA-A-A-AY up!!! Literally. My bee barge wannabe is tied to a tree top.

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

Despite the inconveniences, her support is priceless. She grounds me like a REAL bitch. Gives me great real bitch lessons, too. Lesson # 1: A REAL bitch will bite if she has to, but tail-wagging is mucher gooder.
Woofie woof and an arfie, too.
Missouri...the slow-me state.
I like mountains and deserts myself, as I am mostly stuck in a place that is flat and mostly wet. But that's me. I get a charge out of deserts and mountains.
I try not to get in the way of progress while I am trying to see the good stuff. My decades in Texas have given me ALLOT of practice on that one. Zoom on, good buddy. Let me help you get ahead. I love watching your tail lights dwindle.
Zoom, zoom. . .
Maybe the celestial forces have led me to some exposure therapy?
Yes, I am on the Mississippi side of Missouri. Not far from the river confluence.
What happens when you get exploded at?
...I determined to adopt my guy's very sensible stance: if someone's willing to make me ill like that? I'm not going to stay around.
...I just go for a walk; you seem to go for a few states.
Was reading the thing about hubby, too.
It can be so hard not to act like our parents?
He feels demeaned when his dad treats him like that, though? Right?
As for driving too fast: guilty as charged...ordinarily.
My child alters keep hiding my damn socks, they don't want to go to work or therapy...so I get to re-find socks multiple times.
I keep reminding them we need to pay for the car. They like the car.
I should just buy more socks, so I achieve environmental sock saturation.
Sorry to babble in your thread, I think my mood's swinging up again too.
