Post Partum Depression Support Group
Postpartum depression (also postnatal depression) is a form of major depression which can affect women, and less frequently men, after childbirth. It is widely considered to be treatable. Studies report prevalence rates from 5% to 25%, but methodological differences among the studies make the actual prevalence rate unclear.
The counselling is the main thing you can do but the one thing that helps me is to get out of the house or I feel worse. Are there any mother and baby groups near you? I find it hard to mix so i just take the baby for a walk into town and a quick walk round the shops which he seems to like at the minute with the christmas lights
hope you feel better soon

Walking is great and with a friend too.
I hope we'll feel better SOON!
I also feel worse after I don't get as much sleep too.
Sometimes I just cry with my son in my arms, then he cries because he knows I'm upset and I feel even more awful.
