Post Partum Depression Support Group
Postpartum depression (also postnatal depression) is a form of major depression which can affect women, and less frequently men, after childbirth. It is widely considered to be treatable. Studies report prevalence rates from 5% to 25%, but methodological differences among the studies make the actual prevalence rate unclear.
I am so happy I made the choice to go on it. It has made me feel so much calmer. At first it made me nausiated and I yawned a lot. I took half a pill (5mg) and now that it is in my system I take the whole pill once a day. Still working on the right time of day to take it :)
I still get upset about things but it passes quickly and I am able to see the bigger picture. I am noticably more happier with my life since starting it.
I hope it works for you.
