Autumn, You bring up a good point. I now wonder if these countries just do not share medical data of their residents?

India, Israel, and China residents do have cellphone & internet access. Israel just put the entire bible on a nano chip the size of your thumbnail at Technion University! The human exoskeleton was also created at Technion and is used in the USA.

My next door neighbor travels to India all the time. India is very advanced with technology too. Maybe the numbers just do not get recorded to share with other countries in their medical data bases?

Hongkong is also advanced with technology too. I know our CDC does not mind sharing numbers and information on diseases. This is all very interesting.

The Facebook groups that I use are all in English, so I would expect the vast majority of users to be those who read and write English well, there may be Myositis-related groups in other countries.

Myositis clinical trials are being conducted in many countries where English is not a first language. (China, Japan, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Chile, Brazil, Poland).

Again, the medical community is not sharing the information for the map. It is voluntarily shared by members of Myositis Facebook groups. Less than half have shared this information.
