Does anyone know if Aspirin helps with symptoms other than blood clotting? I'm sitting here with headaches and joint pain and I usually take ibuprofen but I'd like to take aspirin if it will help the underlying pv.

I was prescribed a single childs asperin daily. It seems to help reduce the chance of clotting.

I have PCv and take aspirin regimen. I don't recommend taking Ibuprophen as it is bad on your kidneys. I take aspirin everyday and was told that too much can effect your sight. I take aspirin for Polycythemia and Erthromalalgia.
