PCOS and aldactone (spironolactone):preg risk

I was asked by a user if there was a problem if you conceive while on aldactone (spironolactone) for excess hair...and the answer is YES, here is the info:
1) Androgen excess causing Hirsuitism (unwanted hair) from PCOS as you know is a big issue for some
2) Hair growth may be suppressed by using an oral contraceptive ALONE or in combination with an antiandrogen (spironolactone 100 to 200 mg daily) which respectively decreases androgen secretion and action.
3) This is attractive for some because oral contraceptives and antiandrogen therapy (spironolactone) may also reduce acne
4) Most physicians start with an oral contraceptive FOR THE USE Of excess hair and acne with the SECOND choice being spironolactone ALONE
5) WOMEN USING SPIRONOLACTONE ALONE SHOULD use an alternative form of contraception because if pregnancy occurs, an anti-androgen such as spironolactone could prevent development of normal external genitalia in a male fetus.
6) ALSO: If spironolactone alone is used, endometrial protection is also needed, either with intermittent progestin, or in some cases, metformin

I took it for about 1 1/2 years before i started trying to get pregnant again. I had good results with it. I lost a lot of the facial hair and arm hair. I used to shave my legs 2 times a day, and after using it I could 2 about 2-3 days. I could tell that it helped with a lot of feminine issues that i had. I just felt more womanly and a lot prettier. I also had the virilism (male body structure). Good luck with this!!!!!

Has anyone had a baby after taking Spinolactone? Were there any problems (especially if you had a boy)? How long after taking it should you try to get pregnant? What happens to symptoms when you are not taking it?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
