Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.
So relieved to see that you're back with us. As you know by now, we've all been extremely worried about you. I'm sending the good vibes I sent to Lindsay when she had her surgery; hopefully you'll be feeling better before too long. Remember what everyone is saying - don't try to rush things. This will be a slow process, but we're all with you along the way.
