Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Support Group
Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.
Calcium deposits are "usually" related to a lack of magnesium chloride in the body.
Magnesium chloride is used to transfer messages between nerves. When our body uses up Magnesium Chloride our body seeks another substance to use and the closest thing is calcium which leaves deposits in the fleshy parts of the body, often the kidneys.. Magnesium chloride(in liquid form) will "boost" your nervous system and send the built up calcium back to the bones and teeth where it belongs.
As for kidney infections I would suggest Olive Leaf Extract ( the substance from the movie Lorenzos Oil) with a small amount(maybe 5 drops) of 3% or 5% Hydrogen Peroxide(should cost less than $5 per bottle) daily as this will raise your sons immune system and help fight any infections and reduce the frequency of pain.
My last bout of kidney pain lasted for 3 months of intense pain. That all came about when I stopped taking the medications I have just told you about. Now im back on these medications my pain is almost insignificant and at worst lasts a couple of days and not weeks.
Ive also used Norspan patches for the pain which are an opiate patch as ive been using panadiene forte for over 20 years and was worried of my liver function.
Hope this information helps....Andrew
