How can a poly person be monogamous

How can you feel satisfied and happy in a relationship where you must be monogamous, when you are very cearly poly and very in love with your current significant other but still feel the need for a third?

I don't understand your question because you can't be both you can't be monogamous if you are poly.

Well I would like to think that's not true, I'm in a monogamous relationship with my significant other and value her at the absolute most but I hurt inside cause I'm a polygamist and I feel incomplete
She can't be poly, tried and failed
But I would never leave her or hurt her but she is very uncomfortable with the idea of poly
So all in all I guess my question is how do I rewire myself mono?

Oh That I don't know wish I knew the answer to that. I have a husband that is not poly and it would be better is I was not poly also but I don't know how to do that either. it is easier for my husband because he is straight but I am Bisexual so it is harder for me. most of the time I am mono but not all of the time.

You cant change her, you can only change yourself.
To change yourself you will need time and patience.
IF you love pleasing and pleasuring others and your partner can not relate they will feel hurt and judged.
Being open, honest and up front is very important.
You must talk to her about it.
If you can not love her and be willing to lose her then you do not truly love her. Respect her and love her for her choices. Dont hold yourself back because of fear.
