PMDD Support Community Group
A group specifically addressing Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder; severe emotional and physical problems associated with the menstrual cycle. A place where we can share our feelings during the tough times and different types of treatments. Moodswings welcome!
I identified my pmdd recently and it definitely helped knowing what it was called so I could search for help. I'm on Prozac now to level my emotions and it does seem to work but it seems like I need to up my dose or take Xanax with it during my worst times. The mood swings aren't as drastic but the anxiety and temper and insecurity are still there enough to want more help. Xanax makes me act and feel dumb tho. I'm just sick of feeling crazy and it makes my borderline personality disorder get worse too. I'm way too impulsive and self destructive.

I use a desert glass for this because it looks pretty. and I use 1 cookie for each...

i am in my 40's now and no longer fit the criteria for BPD...(My Pdoc/Tdoc tells me it is rarely seen in people in their 40's)
i remember though, how having both became so terrible because having both was such an intense storm....
Do you keep a journal of your cycle and your emotions everyday?
i find that helps a lot....
You are not alone.
Hugs.
