Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Prayers and hugs to you.
Your messages and hugs, good thoughts and healing prayers all go with me.
I'm so healthy, in general, that it basically took a day of peeing blood to convince me I should be doing this. If I didn't have the memory of spending five hours in the ER in pain, throwing up urinating red, and being told something showed up on two CAT sacns, I'd shrug and say, it's a stone and it'll pass.
It's a lovely day, here in Connecticut. I hope to return home with a report that, yes, it was a stone or a cyst, or something benign ---- and aside from the various bills (gulp), that'll be that.
Even though there'll be no one, sitting physically in the waiting room for me, I've been soundly embraced with cyberhugs and messages, and that's a real close second.
Talk to you soon. . . . . .

Blessings to you~ Pam
I'm fine.
It was a very long day. I was the last procedure and got back home to my bed at 7:30 pm.
What they saw on the CAT scan, and all the blood and pain has been ascribed to a stone ripping through and out. The doctor said he couldn't be sure until he physcially saw inside the bladder and kidney.
Apart from the relief, I feel okay today. Except for a sore throat, where they had the breathing tube installed, I'm fine.
I'm tired and will spend the day in bed, for the most part.
No one was in the physical waiting room for me, but I knew you were all with me in spirit.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
I'll write more later.
Ilene
I'm glad you're relieved a bit, rest well...thanks for the update.

no more calcium supplements. hugs karen :)
Boy, did you hit it.
I've felt exhausted today.
I have lots of work but didn't push myself.
(Re: calcium . . . . . I'm genetically susceptible
to osteoporosis, and am already pre-osteoportic.
Wo I have to take calcium.)
But, just happy to be as healthy as I am, and am resting.
It seems all I've been capable of.

I'm almost feeling back to normal.
Just wanted you to know that your posts and messages and hugs have meant the world to me.
I'm generally a healthy person and try to support others through their physical and emotional challenges. This past week, I was the one in need of support ----- and I got it.
When I was on the gurney in the pre-op room, the cubicles were separated by curtains. In the cubicle next to me, a whole family waited with their father. My one family-member lives on the other coast and my best buddy was out of state on a business trip, so there was no one with me and no one in the waiting room.
I waited for the doctor to be ready for me, for four hours. During that time, I focused on the love you'd already sent me and the low probability that what was wrong would be life-threatening.
When they finally wheeled me into the procedure room, your love went with me.
Heart-felt thanks to everyone here. You helped sustain me.
