Thank you Ilene! The flower is from my garden. Yes. I gave my notice since I will be moving out of state to live with my daughter and grandchildren. I will look for new employment once I get out there. We plan to leave while my husband is at work so there is no confrontation.

Wow, this is just so awesome! You are moving ahead in your plan and you will have your daughter and grandchildren to look forward to. This is a huge step and you are doing it!!! It's scary because change is always scary - until we get to the other side. I like your plan and no confrontation is good. You are doing what you need to do to protect yourself and carry through. Change is always a bit scarey, particularly leaving a job you've had for 20 years, but leaving an abuser is a positive change and life can only get better.
