Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Maybe fate wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.
It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
Giving someone your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in thier heart but if it doesn't be content it grew in yours.
Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Opps I skipp no 1 and waited until I was 28 to get married.
Now my no 2 is no 3 but am still keeping him at bay for I perfer to live by myself. I only give from over flow and never from the core. My formor finely came to understand that about me.
I never bought in to fair tail storys that are used to condition little girls to dream even when thier adults.
Sorta sorry am a realist. And I enjoy the fox hunt ( once I know i can have him w/o actually having him,the thrill is gone and I move on)and I enjoy window shopping,lol, LOL some have store return refunds,lol.
