Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
So I just started reading "the Verbally Abusive Man, Can He Change?" by Patricia Evans and I'm really enjoying it! Thanks for the recommendations everyone! :-) I've always really loved to read. My boyfriend would always make fun of the books that I would read. He'd say that I should read something more "useful" or "intelligent". (this coming from a man that is a physician and has never read a book in his entire life for pleasure!) He would get angry at me if I brought my book to the beach with us. (probably because I wasn't giving him enough attention) Anyway, I just thought how funny it would be if he knew what I was reading now! Would he think that I'm actually reading something "useful" enough now?? lol
I'm glad your enjoying that book. I did too. My h made it vanish. I found it ages later, hidden.
And, you know, do you think they actually THINK? You know, as in seriously thinking? I think they just play games but inside they are like empty rooms.
And yeah it is useful wonder how he would feel about that lol.
