Okay, admittedly not all of today was great. My hand feels SO much better, starting to blister now, but not really hurting at all which is incredible! I went to see the counselor at crisis intervention again, she set up for my girls to see the kid's counselor beginning next week. She also reminded me of the"secret address" program run by the state department here which means that mine and my kid's mail will be sent to this address and secretly forwarded to our actual address. We will even get identification cards with that address. Kinda like the witness protection program I guess:-) She also set me up an appointment to meet with the attorney about my legal rights and obligations moving forward. That's set for next ds. So I feel like things are moving forward.

When I got in my car to leave though, it wouldn't start. Won't even go into the debacle that became as my mom and her father in law came up, couldn't fix it, then left me there in a cold car until my sister finally came to get me. Or how my loving hubby finally takes me to get it and treats me like an imbecile and starts throwing a tantrum in the parking lot. Nope, not gonna go there :-) I am actually thankful that he continues to be such an ass because it makes this planning thing that much easier, (and means he's not growing suspicious yet).

All in all a pretty damn good day I'd say.
