Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I wanted to put up my profile photo as I was really touched by how sometimes someone far away whom you have never met in person can reach out and touch your heart in ways that those close to you have never even cared to try.
I lost the little sorrel horse in the forefront of the painting a few years back due to a tragic accident and this artist finding that out painted this from a photo I had. To make it even more special, she did that without the use of her arms.
So to me that told me to stay strong, YOU can overcome the odds, that I am special to someone out there to do such a kind act for, that we all touch someone in our way so keep going and keep reaching out as you never know who you may be helping along life's road.

I'm so sorry about your horse... I felt like crying when I read about the accident. But he must have had a wonderful life having you as his mother. Bless you, Joanie. Hugs xxx
