Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I have led a pretty hard life and seen things that to most people are like a bad after school special. I dont sicken easily either. But DAMN.
Were the hell were this girls parents? her friends? relatives? teachers, anyone? If this has been going on along time she was involved with this guy young.
This is what happens when people "dont wanna get involved"
Damnnit, now im pissed off ... shud put his ass down like they do a rabid dog
As Lady says, this is what happens when people don't want to get involved.
This poor girl will be so messed up for so many years to come...and now she is bringing a baby into the world to perpetuate the cycle.
My heart breaks for this young woman and that baby.
Yeah, put him down like a rabid dog is a good idea.

As for where her parents were ... well, as we all know, most people in abusive relationships came from very dysfunctional families, so I guess we can't be too surprised her parents didn't step in to protect her. We also know she was probably not allowed to have close friends or other support networks.
What I also found interesting were some of the comments on the article. All about perpetuating violence. How he should be beaten up, how they hope he's abused in prison, kill him, etc etc. Now, I'm pretty angry too, that something so horrible could happen - but if violence just begets violence, if violence is ever the "answer" to anything (other than genuine self-defence) then there will always be someone who thinks violence is the answer to their little problem too - which might be their partner talking back or not looking pretty enough or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I really hope that girl also gets some help and support to deal, not only with what he has done to her, but also with the reasons she was in that position to start with.
Fortunately, in this case, for whatever reason and however it happened, someone DID finally get involved and now he is going to have to pay some kind of price for what he has done. Whether we can say it's a high enough price (I'm not sure there IS a high enough price for something so horrendous) is a different question of course.
So no, I wasn't accusing you of perpetuating or encouraging violence as a solution to problems.
i sure hope this girl can now be surrounded by a strong support system to help her to heal.
Me too.
Interestingly, I've found there are a variety of scenarios
from which something like this can spring:
One -- (the predominant but not the only one) --- is
dysfunction transmitted through behavior, from one
generation to the next to the one after that.
Another is less linked, generationally, but
more dependent on less obvious factors.
A third has to do with physiological genetics.
A fourth is a combination of one or more of the above.
I hope the young woman in the story has already been
connected with the support that will provide her the
tools and healing to repair what's been wrong, and
help her and her baby find new ways to live going forward.
I'm a tad embarrassed
to confess but that DID
make me laugh out loud.
