Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Or at least thats my what I'm saying today.
I am new here, so a little background. I have been in an emotionally and verbally abusive relationship for two years now. Mr. Wonderful..til the day...and I remember it vividly...that the ugly side came out. It knocked the wind out of me a bit...and I shouldve ended it then...if only I had known.
Since then...ther have been some many incidents, so much name calling and head games. Absolute explosive rages...they kind of all blur. Everything is my fault, everything gets twisted. I feel I have lost my voice...for if I ever show an emotion or voice an opinion against his...I am being melodramatic.
One big problem are is sex...it causes about 90 percent of they problems. I see what he does. I see that he uses it to ease anxiety and make him feel like a man in spitwe of his other shortcomings. It is to be when he wants it, how he wants it, and if I dare say no...there will be hell to pay for days.
I know it is not me...and I have beeen absolutely on the verge of kicking him out dozens of times...but he always pulls me back. This is what I dont understand...WHY do I let him do that??? This relationship is making me disappear...I feel less and less myself everyday. I s it the fear that I know he wont go easy? The fear that he will never own up to his part and go out in the world believing I wronged him??? I dont know.
So today at least, Im not going to cry anymore...because quite honestly he does not care that he hurts me so.

It leaves so much more. Until you are on the outside looking in you do not realize what it has done to you.
Some people thrive on having the upper hand in an emotionally abusive relationship.. and in my situation he made me feel i couldnt d. This alone. That's what he wanted to make me feel as weak and helpless as he was..
This kind of abuse can be stopped, but you will have to remove your abuser from the equation.

He may break down and cry that he didn't mean to hurt you and will never do it again. He will be nice for awhile and you will be happy during that short time. You pray this time he means it. But, it happens again. You grow numb. You block out the pain. The punches don't hurt as much as your broken heart. Maybe he will kill you this time and put you out of your misery. T
here never seems to be an easy way out when an abuser has you in his trap.It never gets better. It only gets worse. You may detach yourself emotionally. It becomes like watching a movie. It is happening to someone else. You look at the bruises, the cuts and think how you can cover them to go buy groceries because he will be mad that you didn't. You are embarrassed and ashamed and with head down run in and run out of the store, hoping the neighbors don't see you. The neighbor next door waves and you pretend not to see her. You run and hide behind closed doors and drawn curtains.
Is this living? No Is this love? No Run from this man. It will never get better unless you get away from him.

You OWN the house! He is the one to be made to leave YOUR house! You can always get some kind of roommate to aid in making expenses, if need be.

& if he won't leave, you have the law on your side to aid you in this.
Life is too short to give it away to someone else who doesn't even appreciate the gift of it
Ilene is correct. You are with vampire, and he will suck you dry and move on to his next victim like you never even existed, and THEN where will YOU be?

LEGALLY EVICTED.
