Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I just wanted to drop a quick little note to say that I am awed by the beauty of this group. I am continuously amazed at the compassion, the empathy and the kindness that takes place here on a daily basis.
It gives me hope! :)

And yes, we ARE awesome.
That's the hope I have, knowing that even at the distance we all live, out in the world someone as empathic and caring as me exist and I can really expect some people to treat me the way I would treat them which gives me hope that decency and true respect that comes from the heart still exists in this world!
And what's wonderful is that when people sadly have to join this group, I see a transformation take place over time through the support they get and 9 times out of 10 they always go onto being able to be their helpful caring and loving selves by offering fantastic support to everyone else and the next generation of people who join!
It's sad that we've all had to join because of our experiences but the silver lining is that without my hard experience I would never have experienced all of you!
