I am feeling somewhat stronger with practicing NC and just having time away from a few toxic people in general. While I don't have my computor hooked up to internet, I do have access through my phone. If anyone who is really wanting to remain NC with their abuser would like to private message me just to keep from reaching out to them..well I am here for that. No judgement. I struggle with it myself. Just putting that out there. Turning in for the evening and wishing all much peace ...

That is a generous offer. I am amazed how hard no contact can be. All the emotions tied up in these individuals.

You are doing great. Glad that ur feeling stronger. Perhaps that old cliche is correct, "one dsy at a time"

Thank you for the kind words but honestly I just recall my own struggles with it and how no one in my family can or wants to understand abuse so I have no one to reach out to in those times I am "missing " my abuser or just feeling down and mistakenly thinking I need to contact him. And well some times I don't feel I can post what I want to say on the board so I just fight it until it passes. I guess I just wanted to offer a way for someone to vent, rage, whatever in private if they needed to with a shoulder, ear and heart. Mostly with no abuse coming back at them because those words were NOT sent to their abuser. Just from my own experience with breaking contact and getting everything from told I not only deserved childhood sexual abuse but I enjoyed it to a barrage of calls, silence, then back to non stop calls. My wish is for no one to have to have their esteem tore down time after time and be so paranoid that they can't leave their home out of fear. My wish is for us to be able to speak safety.
