Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I had an awful day yesterday, I feel like I was abused by a on shift supervisor yesterday, I won't go into details here, but I need all the support I can, I am going through necessary channels, and getting the support I need, and hopefully will be able to make up for time I was sent home.
I called him on all his actions, and he is a bigger and dominating man, and can intimidate easily. It was so scary to stand up for myself, It upsets me even to talk about it now. I am usually very hard to get that upset, but I had to get my point across. It was very scary.
It had me jumping all night. I barely could sleep. Usually we have several supervisors on shift, but it was only him, and he and I were in the room alone. I never felt so attacked verbally in my life, it was scary. I hope to get some compensation for the loss of my time. My main supervisor is usually understanding, I was a past abuse victim and I understand the actions tendencies, and characteristics of an abuser.
I told him I was going to talk to my main supervisor about his action, and that it was uncalled for, I hope it will all go in my favor, as where I work is a place where males dominate. Usually got many gents here, but a few that feel they need to put women in there place.
I will step up to the plate to speak up for myself though.

I am so relieved, I feel like this has took a turn for the better.
I think that my future here is looking up and I will enjoy coming to work here and feel more safe and secure.
I hope that he gets help for his problem and works on healing and wholeness
I got mad at him today, I have to maintain that I didn't over react and that I was validated in my actions and statements.
I work w/ an abusive person, and he has gotten in trouble for bullying me more than once. He'll do it out of the blue, in emails, in meetings, just randomly. So I am all business w/ him and rarely speak to him unless it's about work. He should have been fired or sent to anger management but my boss thinks he can handle him because the employee respects our boss (he's male, go figure) employee is a woman hater I suspect.
some people just like to stir the pot to get a reaction out of people (it's their hobby and enjoy it) , especially w/ nice people like you and I. I need my job but I'm always keeping an eye out for a backup in case this one goes down. Stay safe sister!
