Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Leaving is the hardest thing to do. But undoing the damage caused by the abuse you will most likely endure if you stay makes for a very long road to recovery. (I wish I left my abuser sooner.) You deserve to be respected. You deserve peace. You deserve to be happy. If you don't do it for yourself, then please do it for your son.
I'm sorry to read your story, but I know from experience time and distance will make things more clear and you will gain strength for yourself and your son. Much love and respect.

Hitting back at an
abuser only sets
you up for even
worse consequences.
Staying guarantees
increasing abuse.
Your son is obviously
in pain seeing you
abused. Further, he
will learn what he's
living.
Leaving isn't easy
and can be dangerous.
That's why you need
support to be able to
make it happen SAFELY.
Your abuser is already
physically abusive. If
you stay, he WILL get
WORSE. He WILL
eventually, punch
you in the face. . .
and eventually he
won't stop there.
Your child needs
you. He needs
his mother to be
healthy and happy.
