Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
My ex got married 8 months after meeting his now wife. 5 weeks into the marriage she left. I am not talking I am packing a bag and thinking this over for the weekends. I am talking moved out with her kids.....beds, funiture, the whole thing. Guess she figured it all out pretty quick. I feel so bad for her and her young (10 and 6) kids. I do not feel bad for him....there is a common denominator here.....hhhhhhmmmmm.....
I don't know what happened but my son tells me they barely talked, he would take her out on the deck and yell at her, and she would take the kids and leave to get away. All sounds too familiar. Both of my kids tried to warn her.....

They never change their spots...they are who they are. When someone sees their ex with a new woman....feel pity for her...she's just the replacement victim.

Oh how I wish that I listened to his mtoher when she told me how her son was with his first wife. Like HM said. THEY NEVER CHANGE.

Thank you so much for posting this. A great example of how the "new" and "happy" marriage to the "better" woman is usually (pretty much always) not as it seems.

I met her like 2 weeks before the wedding. It was just her and I and we met in the driveway of his home. She stuck out her hand and all I could do was hug her.....all I could think was, "Honey walk away....you have no clue what you are getting yourself into....". She hugged me back with no hesitation. I bet that hug I gave her means more now than it did at the moment.

Good for her! I'm glad she left. It must have been hard since she was probably new and hopeful. Glad that you and your kids were there to tell her the truth.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
