Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
It also makes it feel more official and sends the message that you know what you're doing and he better stop messing around.
I read the profile you wrote
when you registered here.
You wrote that you were
enjoying your freedom
and loving life.
Do you have freedom in
this toxic partnership?
Are you still enjoying life?
This:
800-524-4765
is the number for your state's
women's resources.
I hope you'll consider
giving them a call.
From your various responses
on this post, I'm thinking of
several in which you wrote about
talking with him, possibly hoping
for some honest answers and
rational thinking, even the possibility
of getting him to "own" his abusive
behavior.
Sweetie ---- abusers aren't capable
of rational conversations and certainly
not honest answers. Finally, they
NEVER "own" their abusive actions.
Are you thinking that
possibly, he's the
exception, that
possibly, he will
stop being a lying,
cheating predator
who will share love
and life with you in
a happy, functional
manner?
Or is it a matter of
being unable to kick
the toxic predator out
and try life on your own,
FREE of ABUSE. . . .
as simply too terrifying?
Whichever or whatever
you're thinking or hoping
to have in your life,
I URGE you to
CALL THAT NUMBER!!!!!!!
You need support and
that's what they're there for.
Please practice self-care today.
Sending you hugs and
wishes for strength
and clarity.
You titled this thread
"He's really pissed"
The day you stop being
concerned about what
HE is or isn't
is the day you'll have
knocked down your
prison walls and
will be able to breathe
air that's totally your own
and not poisoned by
HIS toxicity.
That can happen.
I hope you'll call that
number, and let them
help you get to that
place of freedom.
