Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I showed up at the bar tonight and was able t talk to the woman he dated while we were broke up. She said they were romantic until about two months before he contacted me, not the lie he told that they were just friends with no romance, and then when he just recently admitted that there was romance, but just in the first few weeks and then nothing for the rest of the year.
That poor woman was dating someone else when they met and she broke up with her boyfriend to be with my SO. I guess though, that's what you get when you do that stuff. That is not the person I am, they both deserve each other.
He is so pissed that she knows he lied to me and that I know the whole truth now. I apologized to her, and let her know if I had known the truth I would not have reconciled. I needed to do that, I feel so badly. That is not who I am. He is so pissed he told me to leave, he didn't want to see me right now. Oh well. This feels better then being scared and not liking myself. I am who I am, and I deserve better then to be lied to and tricked into a relationship. I don't know what he will do. He just may never talk to me again. I'm sure that will upset me, worse though would be for him to tell me how this is all my fault and I should have left it alone and accepted this horrible behavior. I don't know what will happen. I'll let you know.

Is this the way you want to feel and live for the next 50 years? 10 years? If not, fix it today with no regrets..
So, who ARE you??? Are you a woman who deserves an honest man? Are you a woman who stands up for herself?
Find that woman and when you do, tell her to CUT him out of her life COMPLETELY.
It IS so messed up that he could be mad at you finding out the truth.
As I already said, You deserve so much better of a life than living with someone who refuses to tell you the truth.
He said it wasn't a lie because it was none of my business and that he wouldn't hear another word about it, he had been beat up enough. He was leaving we were done. I was terrified, I know I shouldn't have been. I promised to drop it. And then I sobbed uncontrollably. He touched a place deep inside me. Fear of abandonment. I cried and cried. I crawled under my blanket with my teddy bear. I haven't needed my teddy bear in along time. I comfort my bear when I need comforted. Weird huh.
I agree with what everyone else says! I'm glad you stood up to the jerk! Now it's time to COMPLETELY CUT HIM OFF and move on with your life without him and recognize how much better off you are without him! I hope you have also learned what to watch out for in the future!
Not to say there are no feelings, but this isnt the feelings you deserve...
Tell him to get the Hell out of you life and stay gone. Send him a registered letter saying that you want no further contact and if he ignores the letter, you are going to the police for harassment.
Once you grow a pair, his will shrivel and will go onto another weaker victim.
