Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
He called today just to say hi. Wants to know if I have a problem with that. He has been moved out 16 days now. I am doing good and feel good. Till now. I told him he brought it on his self. He should have kept his hands to him self. My foster dtr 17 and her friend 18. He justify's by saying they never said no and it was just harmless playing. He feels they just ganged up on him to get him out of the house. If every one moved out we would be just fine. He says he dont like being alone and has to live in his car. He says he was freezing and had no blankets. I told him go get one. He came last week and got a load of stuff. He called the nieghbor lady right before he got here. Told her I was throwing him out because I thought they were having sex. She came yelling at me and told me it wasnt true and not to use her for the reason. I had a problem with him hiding phone calls to her 2 years ago. he was probally trying the feel sorry for him with her. why cant he see where wahat he did to the girls is wrong. They always laughed and didnt say no. But they came to me and said they didnt like it. I asked him to stop so he waited till I was at work. why does he think I would take him back.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). You are thinking about him as if he were a rational, healthy person.
He is NOT.
He IS DANGEROUS.
He IS CRIMINAL.
HE IS MANIPULATIVE.
He IS a LIAR.
Has he been through the justice system?
Why is he allowed contact?
Why are you talking to him?
He thinks you would take him back because offenders/violators/perpetrators
are ARROGANT.
If you continue contact, that validates for him, what he imagines is possible.

Please do not imagine that talking with him, will bring him any insight. It won't. EVER.
Violating a 17 year-old is STATUATORY RAPE ----- whether she says "no" or not. It's RAPE. Consent isn't possible because there's no such thing as "consentual sex" with a child. His "justification" is irrelevant. What he did was criminal.
You're best move is to stop talking to him.

And Ilene is right. There is absolutely no point trying to understand his "why", or trying to get him to understand. It's an exercise in frustration and futility and best left alone.
