Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
He's done it again, made me feel guilty again. He came to my moms house yesterday and was talking to her waiting for a package. He said that hes been working so hard on his invention and that hes almost there and that he is going to finally be able to give us the life we deserve but had to add that he's sure he will probably lose in the end anyway so whats the point. That he thinks that i will be leaving him anyway. That he knows that he has caused me alot of pain and stress in the past and that he knows that he did. And that all he is doing for us to make my life better and less stressful and he knows hes to blame for nearly all of my health problems because of the stress that he has put me through. But yet he can talk about it and doesn't do anything, he has for the most part stopped with his anger, which still happens but its been alot less frequent. But he knows im overwhelmed with work and have no energy to speak of but yet he does nothing at home to try and help out even though hes home most every day, although i know he would expect me to keep a clean house if i was home, double standards. I really don't think if he did do anything at home anyway that it would help the situation, it just has been too much over the years and i just dont really care anymore. right now im just trying to make it day to day, to be able to take care of my son but would love just to stay in bed every day and not do a thing. the stress and low energy is really getting to me, its hard to even function. Im so tired of feeling guilty for him when he has caused all of this and realistically i know that he has, my deadline is october 1st to leave but as it gets closer, i doubt that i will be able to do it, its what i want, i just dont know how to do this anymore...

Kaz is right, they amp it up when they realize they are losing their grip. I bet your H also acts like the work he is doing on the invention that has yet to make any money, is much more important than all of the work that you do.
I have heard "I waz gonna" so many times in relation to cleaning something in the house that I have to stifle a laugh when he says he is going to clean anything. I take pictures with my phone of the way he leaves things. He is worse than the kids for making a mess. I had to break down and clean the bathroom that he shares with the kids, because I was horrified that they would have to use it.
Hang in there.
It's no different with abusers. They "take responsibility" for all that they've done, which immediately undoes it all and makes it your fault if you can't just forget all the pain they've caused you as easily as they can. That's the only point of their apologies - to turn the whole thing around and make you feel guilty for all the relationship problems. After all, he said sorry for HIS part in the problems, so if they still remain they must be your fault.
