Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
so HE wouldn't have
to take the rap.
Since you only see him
as a caring care-giver,
you didn't see the set
up and walked into it,
assuming the blame.
That's what was
meant that you
"played into it."
IIene: really? That doesn't seem like him.
Because for the duration
of your entire life, you have
been the victim of abuse.
You have been TAUGHT
(by your parents),
to take all the blame,
blame and shame that
rightfully belongs to
OTHERS.

v.w. -------
From everything you've posted here
describing your family system, both
your parents appear to be profoundly
dysfunctional and ABUSIVE.
Taking just ONE example. . . . . . .
A parent who INSTRUCTS
a child, (even an adult child),
to LIE to the other parent. . . . .
about a decision that he,
himself, has made. . . . .
is ABUSIVE.
So. . . . . yes. . . . . REALLY.
1. You intended NO harm to anyone
2. You obeyed your parent by not telling anything.
3. You are human (an innate right for slack)
4. You would give that slack to others.
5. (Personally I think this one is most important and will be hardest for you to believe) YOU were not at all responsible for a single nevent.
Sounds like it's
precisely the moment
for YOU to take some
kind of action in the
service of your own
WELL-BEING.
take much more,
maybe it's time
to do something.
