Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
Help, I need to get the hell out of here before I crack totally. BUT how do you manage financially everyone, wher e do u go. I can't go to a shelter as the nearest one is an hour away, and I have to be here for my job. Sorry, just having such a shitty day.
After the move though, I had 0 income...the court system failed me, in 9 months we never had a temporary order hearing, ordering him to share rental property income, provide child support or anything. .
Thank God I was able to get a teaching job to provide a bit of income while I was waiting for the divorce to get done. I racked up almost $10,000 in credit card debt, but will be able to pay it off once I get the settlement money due any day now.
If you can contact a domestic violence office, or maybe the shelter that is far away, they may be able to find a place in your town for you to go. Don't be afraid to go to friends.
Whatever you do, know that it's worth it.
