Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

Since I've been seeing the counselor at the dv place I've been given a few exercises and figured I would share them on here. What are some good exercises that you have found that help you look forward?
Currently working on 2 projects:
Listing qualities I want in a relationship. Currently I got 18
Listing things I like and dislike about myself and how I think the opposite sex sees me.
Both of these exercises are helping look at the future and how I want things to turn out. Plus looking more at myself and seeing the things I don't like that maybe I can change.

I like both of these exercises. Looking forward and within. I found another on a website for self esteem. You write down as many positive qualities about yourself or inspirational quotes that really mean something to you on post cards and post them up around your house where you will see them. Each time you see them really read them and feel those feelings of being happy because of it. I extended this one further and asked my closest friends to make me a list of things they love about me. When I write theirs I will say "Ashley loves that I am: honest. And list the rest on there too. I am going to work on this one this weekend.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
