Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
In addition to the reckless driving, which I experienced (driving way too fast, one the wrong side, in icy conditions)...
Road rage...When someone is yelling at the other drivers and getting ridiculously upset it seems like they can't possibly be concentrating on driving.
Suddenly reaching over and grabbing or tickling in the middle of driving, causing a loss of attention to the road.
Texting and driving.
Insisting or forcing young and inexperienced drivers get behind the wheel to make them "man up" or "teach them to drive" when they are not ready, unable, or scared.
My husband was always very proud of the fact that he could say he never laid a hand on me. However when we would argue and he was angry at me, he would kick the pets or punch the baby. He wasn't directly hitting me, but he was using physical violence to control and intimidate me.
