Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

Not only does this organization have specific referrals and resources, they can also hook you up with peer support, which might be really great.
If you can't drive or work, you are *probably* disabled under the Americans With Disabilities Act. This opens up access to services, including housing, etc. Have you applied for Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income?
There are housing options for adults with disabilities or chronic illnesses - usually group homes, and they have transportation available, etc.
