Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
It started on the ride home from work. He drives me to and from work...which is a story in itself. But yesterday I didnt speak on the ride home..which takes about ten minutes. When we got home I could tell he was annoyed...glaring at me. And then it starts. I'm moody..and why don't I talk, and can't you keep your hormones in check to just once a month. And it snowballs...into a million things he wants to be mad about...and I say nothing, because I know there is not a answer in the world that will please him. Of course my silence is taken as defiance and disrespect. I am the cause of all of our problems...MY stubborness and disrespect. Eventually the yelling stops, and I go to bed..dreading that he will come up and start with me again. But he doesnt. He comes up and wants to HOLD ME! And as he does I sob, the kind of sobbing where your body just wretches...but hardly any sound comes out...and he says nothing. In the morning he wakes and says I'm horny...as if nothing ever happened the night before.
Sound familiar? Girl, you need to get him OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The same thing happened to me last night. What a vicious cycle. Its like a nightmare. You/we have to get out of there. I almost left to go to a hotel. I would have but it was 9:30 and why should I pay for a hotel when she is cornering me? In the same place as you. Sometimes it just helps to know other people are going thru the same thing. Come her for support.
