Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I sent her certified mail the day after she left telling her that in 30 days anything she left behind would be considered abandoned. That 30 days is up on the 25th. The really screwy thing is that I keep thinking when she does come back I'll be glad to see her again.
I was in a four month relationship with a woman 10 years my junior. She has Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). The verbal abuse I could take but the emotional abuse and the cheating got to be more than I could bear. On a Friday when she was about to "go visit family" for the weekend I just told her I'd had enough and she had to go.
That last couple days have been especially hard. Even though I know there's nothing I could have done that would have changed the eventual outcome I keep thinking about the day she went from loving me more than anything and began to be abusive. I know what I did that triggered it and I keep wanting to blame myself. I know that something else would have eventually turned her against me. I've read up on BPD and people with that problem often have a series of short and intense relationships. She has left a string of broken hearts behind her. She can't deal with emotions due to the abuse, neglect and abandonment in her childhood. My heart still goes out to her even though she drove me to the brink of insanity. I was under so much stress I lost 60 pounds in the time we were together.
Intellectually I know the things I must do to move on, you folks here have been very helpful with that. I began seeing a therapist a month before the break-up and that is helpful, too, but my therapist is on vacation and I don't have another appointment until she gets back.
I'm just down in the dumps and needed to vent. I'm so ashamed of myself for being weak, as I typed the word vent I began to ball like a baby. I suppose the cold weather and the fact it's been raining here for days doesn't help either.
Thanks again for being here. I know I must move on. The sooner she gets the rest of her crap out of here, I know it will help but it's going to be a long 11 days.

your strong than you may realize and it sounds like your on the right track.
By chance if she doesn't come to haul her per boxed items away Please donate the items to Salvation Army or Good Well.
Being a landlord I normal take photos and box items and rent a storage unit in which to house formor tentant crap in.
I notifie the courts of eviction process and yep I provide writen quit notification w date that tenant is to vacate property to formor tenant to be.
Legally cover yourself.
Iv had tentant to take me to court over items that they left behind a yr after they moved.
I have a tenant now thats going to cost me aprox $3.000 to evict and more than likely they will do propety damage on finely date in which they half to vacate.
your lucky that she didnt rip the place apart on her way out, some cats are like that. I personally set date out w the cat, lol, just dont feed are they will hang around,lol.
