Phobia Support Group
A phobia (from the Greek "fear"), is a strong, persistent fear of situations, objects, activities, or persons. The main symptom of this disorder is the excessive, unreasonable desire to avoid the feared subject. When the fear is beyond one's control, or if the fear is interfering with daily life, then a diagnosis under one of the anxiety disorders can be made.
I have the EXACT same fear, and i was just researching it. Do you have any way it can be overcome. The way you described it is exactly how me and my friend feel about wrist vains.
Even just saying it makes it hurt!
Thanks,
Naomi and Jocelyn
I can’t look at my wrist and veins. I can’t look at people wrists either. I don’t want to touch my wrists or anyone’s wrist.
I don’t feel nauseous when I look at them, but I feel pain and weird and sick.
Thank God I’m not the only one that has this phobia and I didn’t it’s a thing until I looked it up today.
To type.
