so sorry to hear youve been diagnosed with ovarian cancer,i hope you can get treatment and beat it and sorry to hear about your friends dog,its not too long since you lost your own dog so all those memories are getting brought to the surface again with you friends dog dying and your dog getting 2 years of chemo,that must have been so hard,the poor thing.he fought it for 2 years,he was so brave.sorry for your loss and i hope you feel better soon..... hugs xx

Sorry to hear about your own health andi t sounds like the loss of your friends pet was just the topping on the cake which you didn't need.
You might feel mad at how pets arem't long in our lives,but they are here for us thru thick and then and aren't judgemental.
There are so many out there that needs a home and you might consider getting a new friend to help you both thru your upcoming new issues

I'm so sorry for all of your heartache between your cancer diagnosis, dealing with your dog's chemo & passing and, your neighbor's dog passing. My heart goes out to you. Back in 1999 when my rat terrier mix, Patches, died, I found a website that has been such a big help to me back then and within the past 5 yrs. when I've had to deal with 2 more dog deaths, one them was my own dog in March 2012.

www.petloss.com is such a WONDERFUL website! There is a message board, poems, chatroom, & etc. Every Mon., night, there is a candle ceremony where around 75 or more people gather together in the chatroom for this BEAUTIFUL ceremony that is given by the owner/creator of the website. People chat beforehand and a few stay afterwards to chat longer. That's where I found the Rainbow Bridge poem which I just bawl while reading it.
