Pet Bereavement Support Group
The loss of a pet or animal to which one has become emotionally bonded can be an intense loss, comparable with the death of a loved one. Whilst there is strong evidence that animals can feel such loss for other animals, this community focuses on human feelings, when an animal is lost, dies or otherwise is departed.
my cat in hiding all morning----after laying with me on the bed at night, eating at 330 in morning on bed, and a few hours later.
but, now he's in hiding, and I know from when his sister cat was doing that in 2006 what that means.
yesterday, when I actually went away for the day, to get a camera for him, I found him hiding when I got home....and was very lucky to get an appointment at 2 oclock today for him.
I hate that he's suffering, and even walked into vet at 830 this morning to ask if any early cancellations, but at least I know not to prolong this, after buying $20 of fishoil for him days ago, and just this morning paying $40 for meds that I ordered off vet Monday.
selfish of me----but my cat, as usual, getting his revenge by me taking hours to dig in the hard ground, next to his 2006 sister, and 2004 mom.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
sorry you had to do this but you know when it is time...we do what we can to give them the best time and hard to let go....hugs
thank you, all, though i go to peices everytime i do thank somebody.
paid ten dollars to somebody with a police record to dig for me; got down to a big hunk of shale, which this area known for, but poor cat was laid to rest ok, with 2 bags of topsoil on top, and then snow. nobody could tell he, his sister, and their mom cat all resting there.
