If we are reunited with our two legged loved ones then I dont' see why our four legged ones wouldn't be reunited with us as well!

After my fur baby Lucy (cat) died, I was sure I sensed her presence around me quite often. I even sensed her jumping on my bed one morning when I was half asleep. I am sure we will be together again one day!! ((Big hug))

you need to google the rainbow bridge story....it explains it pretty well...however know afterlife is something that is not proved to the absolute Nth degree for anyone....so it depends on faith....

Did your cat run off?

Angel didn't run away. She loved to go outside for a little while but never left the yard. She would go in my garden area or stay on the porch. She seldom stayed out more than 30 or 40 minutes and was then ready to come in. I have six more cats (all rescues) and they just lounge on the back porch or mostly stay in.It had been raining a lot and was the first day mowers could cut yards. I think all the mowers going might have scared her enough to slip thru the fence then got disoriented or someone picked her up. She is very friendly and loves to be held. So depressed..........

so sorry....was she older cat?

I once worked on guys front porch under neither the thing and found a mummified cat under there....so sad that someone did not know what had happened to their cat and here it was under the porch dead and mummified...

I can't believe billwfriend would put that vision in your head when you are hurting so bad. I hope you can think positive thoughts, maybe someone is taking good care of her.

I know the pain of having an outside cat go missing as my semi feral cat Tess went missing in 2012. I cried and looked for her for months. I actually contacted an animal communicator and was told she is being taken care of by a man that also feeds several other feral cats. I don't know if it's really true or not but I would rather think she is being taken care of and happy. The only reason I do believe it's possible is because she was being fed somewhere else and was coming less often and not staying long when she did come around.

I also once had a feral cat that went missing for over a year. One day I spotted him in the neighborhood and a few months later he found his way back to my house.

I will be praying for her safe return.......hugs.

Thank you Angel42~ It's OK, I just ignored him. The first thing I did when I noticed she was missing was ask a friend to look under the house. I'm on the coast so there's a high open crawl space under the house. I so appreciate your sensitivity and encouragement. I haven't given up hope tho it's been 2 weeks today. I'm praying she's OK and if you are a praying person, please ask the Lord to give me peace. I just can't give up and expect her to show up still. We had such a communication that we 'head butted' like cats do if you're special. She'd even give me a couple of licks on my nose when I did that.Still miss her so much, here come the tears again. Sorry.

I watched several videos on UTube about pets being in heaven when we go, some were very helpful. I believe it. My daughter said since God wants us to have perfect happiness in heaven it's logical that we would have our beloved pets with us to be completely happy. I'll go with that thought. God Bless~

I agree with Veronica and Angel42, we lost our Bella girl just a month ago and I believe I wills see her again, happy and healthy and whole in heaven. It's my hope you will see your Angel happy and healthy again here on earth, too...

I believe they will be there to greet us, just as any love ones would be.
I had a dream with my mother one time. It wasn't an ordinary dream it was a visit "from beyond" different than other dreams. And when she came to see me she was walking up and had 2 dogs running around her playing. I of course assumed they were my two, although I don't remember now if I saw them clearly. I think I did see one clearly at the time. But it gave me great peace to know they found her and she was an animal lover just like me, or me, just like her. And that they were together and happy.
The other thing is, that you are right not to give up hope. I know people who have found their cats after more time than that. One was scared off by a fire at their house and it was a month or more later, she was back at the house still pulling out things and the cat showed up. Another time, a neighbors cat was found in someones' rafters in their garage. He was sick and dehydrated but alive. Then there is the idea that someone did pick her up. But if something did happen and she is gone, I do believe you will be reunited. Life is life and it doesn't just disappear, that doesn't seem to be how physics works.

So sorry about your cat, I know it hurts so badly.

When we lost our beloved boxer I was so devastated and kept crying wondering where he was and hoped he was not alone, I couldn't get these thoughts out of my head, if someone can just let me know for sure he is okay....

One night in a dream my deceased grandfather came to me and my boxer was walking at the side of him, no words were spoken and I remember every single detail and this was 8 years ago (one of my older boxers) so I absolutely know it was more than a dream.

Afterwards I woke up with such a sense of peace and knew he was with my grandfather, never had anything like that happen before.

Sibi! That was like my dream!! not a word was spoken, we communicated mentally. But i asked her a silly question and she just gave me that mom look like no other can, turned and walked away, as to say, you drug me back from the dead for this! lol but more that i drug her from her current life and existence. And my father was in the background, but like in a different dimension than she was. I have to remember that dream and know they all will be there.

I personally do not believe that we go to heaven when we die. I believe we just are sleeping. However if heaven is helping with the loss of your pet then that is great.
