I am so sorry for your loss of your precious Chihuahua. I lost my fur baby 10/28/13 (cat) and I still miss her very much but I know she is happy and healthy at the Rainbow Bridge and no longer in ill health. She was 16 and I had her since she was six months old. Time will heal your grief and you will remember all the happy times with your pet. She is not far away and is watching over you from the Rainbow Bridge. (((Big Hug)))

I know it isn't easy-but your chihuahua would want you to go on.She is watching you and wishing she could be with you but needing you to take care of yourself as time goes by, Some day you may come across another doggy who will need you=-and in most cases it seems our past furry friends send them to us to care for. But right now you just get thru the tuff times-some people make small memorials for their furry friends...be it outside or in or both.Their toys/photos etc.Keep a stuffed animal nearby for clutching too

I am so sorry for your loss....it has to happen that our pets go to heaven while we keep on without them....they live shorter lives....for me I would never want to die before my boy Shep...they would have to put him down if I was gone...I am his one and only...he does not like others...they would not be able to keep him....so I am hopeful to live to that day when Shep is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge....Tucker on other hand would move on to the next sucker for his loving that came along...he loves everyone and is great with all....

I hope that your job can understand and that your boss gives you some healing time off....hugs bill

if you need to talk, I'm here. I know the pain of losing my pets, who are definitely not just furbabies but my little kids.

I haven't been doing too well. Barely hanging in there, I'm sorry for your loss too!

I too just lost mine 16 yr old friend. I feel deeply as you describe he pain. I am trying to find more work, but I am a mess. It is very hard, and people around me have just moved on. They didn't live with her.
the journey is so individual and lonely. I pray and I hope time and maybe a new friend someday will help. You are not alone.
