Unti yesterday, I had two Boston Terriers, Harley, 16, and Kobe, 5. Now they are both gone. My 14 year old granddaughter tied them out and forgot about them and the 6 year old told her they were barking. Still she did not check unti the little girl told there was something wrong. They had gotten tangled up and with the heat and struggling they became overheated. By the time I got home Kobe was dead and Harley died on the way to the vets. I knew Harley was getting old. He was blind and deaf but still healthy. I never expected to lose both of them in such a horrible way.. I do not blame the children, they feel bad enough, so I grieve in silence. They will be cremated and returned to me. I feel that everything that loved me is gone. My boyfriend died in January and now my boys. I feel so guilty, I worked late yesterday and should have been home nearly 2 hours before I was. I can't even tell anyone about it. It just makes it too real. I just want my boys back. I loved them so much. I am raising 3 grandchildren and don't really have any friends so now I have no one that loves me. I can't stand that they suffered. I need to quit crying. They just loved me and I let them down.
