Pet Bereavement Support Group
The loss of a pet or animal to which one has become emotionally bonded can be an intense loss, comparable with the death of a loved one. Whilst there is strong evidence that animals can feel such loss for other animals, this community focuses on human feelings, when an animal is lost, dies or otherwise is departed.
I lost my horse Belle a year ago, and it still hurts so much. She was my best friend and my joy. My heart hurts and I just feel empty with not much to look forward to. I still keep asking why? There are no answers. People do not understand the loss of a pet and it makes me angry. I end up feeling unvalidated and ignored. I cry every day and it does help somewhat, but will never change the pain I feel. I still talk to her I hope she can hear me, and know how much she is missed.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that.
