Its been a week since peanuts passing, well 11:30 P.M. roughly tonight. I wrote a poem for her

I would give my last breath to listen to you scream
The silence of this household is quite deafening
I would sell my soul to hear your sweet kisses
Your sweet smells of your feathers are what I am so missing
How you would hide in my hair when you felt threatened
Or nuzzle closely to daddys side when a noise was too heightened
You would dance to music but just the kind we liked
You would stay outside till dark on the warm summer nights
You would fly in the shower when you wanted to feel the water on your head
You would make a certain sound when hungry and wanted to be fed
You were our shadow going where ever we would go
On drives to nanas just down the road
You would preen and dance when we put you in your tree
Never once would you ever think of flying away to leave
Now I am left with this gaping hole in my chest
The anguish is so real I can hardly catch my breath
You would waddle down the hall when you heard daddy was home
You would fluff your feathers, groom his hair and nibble his ear lobes
You would fall asleep on lazy Sunday afternoons
After eating egg your favorite food
I will never be the same after losing my special love
How I wish you were here for one last hug

I am still not doing well :( I dont sleep. I called my OB left a message to see if he can prescribe something safe because the 2 hrs a night max is going to really take its toll, well i think it already has
