Personality disorders form a class of mental disorders that are characterized by long-lasting rigid patterns of thought and behaviour. Personality disorders are seen by the American Psychiatric Association as an enduring pattern of inner experience and behavior that deviates markedly from the expectations of the culture of the individual who exhibits it.
But I've never been on an anti-psychotic, so I have no clue. I can empathize with you, however. I have recently been thinking about going off my own meds because i'm tired of feeling so "medicated..." but I know that would not be a good idea at this point. For ME. I'd like to think that your Pdoc knows what she's talking about and doesn't make such decisions lightly, but if you're really worried, i guess you could always seek a second opinion if you have the option. She really sounds like she hears your fears, though.

Psychosis also means spinning and cyling thoughts that race. you can't slow down enough to think stragiht.
just being depressed can be handled by other means. maybe that was what she was thinking?
