I don't know if it makes me feel closer, but I do seem to antagonize sometimes to get a fight going.

With people I care about.......lol...forgot that part.

I force fights with my partner, when he tells me we should stop before it turns into an argument, I push his buttons so it does turn into an argument

I can be very confrontational. With me hoever, it's more with neighbours or shop people, service trades,companies that piss me off. I used to believe it was cuz i was trying to get tothe bottom of things. Now, however, i recognize that there's alot of anger involved in all of it too

An eye-opening obsersavtion Smash. With my ex-boyfriend I used to do things I knew would piss, or pick fights over the most stupid things-like the fact that he never said 'bless you' when I sneezed. Then I would walk/run away from him or hang up the phone so he'ld have to chase me. It's like a test, if he fought back he passed. It proved that he still loved me. Eventually though he stopped fighting back, they always do.

I think I need to learn that one day, my partner is going to stop fighting back and not care anymore :(

I've been in nearly 100 fights in my life, but surprisingly I don't start them. I do often start arguments or conflicts, as well as deception and lies just to make my life more interesting.

Because fighting validates the anger we feel because we don't have the ability to validate it ourselves.

Only problem is...fighting causes a lot more problems than it's worth sometimes.
