I am hurt & angry!

I have BPD and it's hard for me to keep a job, or finish school. My husband has been acting moody lately. Then today, out of nowhere, he said to me unless you get a job or finish school /i will never be happy! I love him and I know he loves me. We will probly get over this and be ok. It just got me thinking. I am not always happy, and now I know he's not. So is it worth trying to work it out?

I also have BPD. I don't know about the happy thing. I am never truly happy, some days are just better than others. He really needs to understand your illness in order to keep your marriage going. I'm not saying it will fail but i know that for someone in a relationship with a BPD partner it is difficult for them cos of the emotional rollercoaster.
He needs to learn about your triggers, and why you find it so difficult to work and study.
I'm nearly 27 and i haven't been able to work since i was 19 cos of BPD. I completely get it. Do you talk to him about your BPD?

If your husband is willing to learn and talk about your BPD and you love him and do everything possible to get better. I am in a situation now that my husband is tired of the whole "mental illness" thing and as told me that if he'd known he'd have to live with it, then he would have never married me.
Now he wants a divorce but won't give up the house so I'm living with a man who doesn't want me or to learn about my disorder and like most with BPD, I have no job, no money and no where else to go. Try your best to work it out.
