But how I see it is - I live in the moment, I'm not sure if that's consistent with BPD or not, but I hardly ever see the future or the past - So when I'm feeling "life isn't worth living" I don't remember anything else - I don't remember in the PAST when it DID feel like living... and I can't see in the FUTURE when I know it will feel better...
I live very much in the moment... and I don't know how to change it - is that kind of what you feel like???

Yes, that's EXACTLY how I feel. It's like dissociation. I just can't actually remember the good times when I'm bad...and the bad times when I'm good. Well, no, I remember them but I can't connect with the emotions I was feeling at all!
It makes it hard in therapy because if I'm having a better day, there's no chance of getting through to any underlying problems at the time. I just can't access them!
